For as long as I can remember I have loved art and the outdoors! I worked in natural resources for nearly 18 years when I decided it was time to focus more on the art. I went back to school in my 40's and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. A class in jewelry metals evolved into a career making jewelry. My works involves traditional metal fabrication as well as metal clay. My love of nature influences and informs my art. I find great beauty in natural textures and common objects underfoot. I elevate these seemingly ordinary items around us to a higher level of significance in the jewelry I create. Each piece a memento of the passage of time, the cycle of life and the preciousness of nature!
