June Ambro is a ceramic artist living and working in the very south eastern corner of Wisconsin: Pleasant Prairie. She is currently creating both functional and sculptural work. With a strong background in painting, June will often employ painterly methods into the making of her ceramic pieces. The resulting work is exquisite. June uses a variety of clays and methods in her ceramic practice; from refined wheel thrown porcelain vessels to roughly textured hand built red clay pieces - always though with a nod to the earth below our feet.
