Lucy Lowe is a fine jewelry artist from Michigan. Lucy has been working independently since 2014 with recycled metals whenever possible, including sterling and fine silver, 14k gold, brass and bronze. Using hammers, jewelry saw, files, burs and torch soldering, she transforms sheet and wire into jewelry and small objects. Color is a constant source of inspiration that she incorporates into her work using natural stones. Her intent is to embrace curiosity and experiment to create jewelry that offers the wearer a sense of joy, playfulness, protection and mystery. While Lucy's work is an exploration of these interests and values, ideally the wearer's personal connection is what creates the enduring meaning of a piece.
